Heading out again soon
Time has gone by so quickly over here. On Friday we leave for Hong Kong, and stay for four nights. The Hong Kong trip marks the half-way point in our trip. We've been here for nearly a month!
Today we had studio again. Everyone had to put up their fifteen sketches on the wall. Not everyone had fifteen, and some of the Taiwan students didn't even have five. Tin-Man walked around and told everyone what they needed to work on, and added a whole new element to the robot assignment. Not only does the robot we are designing have to look like it's function, but it has to also be distinctly Taiwanese. He wants us to do this because we will at some point in our career be designing for the Asian market. I have no clue right now how I am going to make a robot look Taiwanese without putting some obvious pattern on it (which is not what he wants us to do).
One of the Taiwan students has been in Korea for the past week. She brought back some sort of snack that is a really thin sheet of seaweed and wasabi. I ate what she gave me, but it was hard to get down. I like seaweed with things, or in soup, but this stuff was just gross. At least I tried it though.

I don't think I am going to take my computer over there because our professor doesn't know if we will have internet or not. The laptop weights a good ten pounds (dinosaur alert).
